Unfortunately the management had a different idea of what “Celtic Night” meant, compared to those performing and organizing the evening. A big THANK YOU to all the musicians, pipers, singers, and dancers who performed, and to those who came out to listen. Your support and participation were greatly appreciated by Richard. But don’t despair – you still have some place to go on Thursday nights! A new pub has opened in Santa Clara called Ye Olde Royal Oak Pub (1240 Coleman Ave, Santa Clara, 95050). The owners, Sam & Barbara, will be presenting a Celtic Evening. Every Thursday, beginning November 29th, they will have a scheduled performer playing Celtic music, 8pm to 11pm. Please be aware that this will not be a format like Britannia Arms, nor will it be an open jam session. The Pub will schedule/book a specific performer to play each Thursday. Hope to see you all there! Thanks! Debbie |
